Boddhisatya Tarafdar

Boddhisatya Tarafdar is from Kolkata, India. He is a banker, an independent Public Historian, columnist, a blogger & Founder/ Curator of BRIL Virtual Museum. Boddhisatya Tarafdar did MBA, MA in Journalism & Mass Communication, MA in History and studied Museology. He is a big admirer of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and his contributions in liberating India. Tarafdar also organizes quiz and seminars with the help of his friends. He organised and curated an exhibition on Revolutionary Rashbehari Bose & Japan's Role in India's Freedom Movement in Kolkata in 2025, where Japan's Deputy Consulate General in Kolkata was the Chief Guest and attended by students, descendants of freedom fighters and experts. Boddhisatya Tarafdar produced several short documentary films and published his independent research papers on various topics of Indian History. His creation i.e Bengal Revolution for India’s Liberation Virtual Museum or BRIL Virtual Museum is a first-of-its-kind voluntary educational initiative, which is a comprehensive commemorative study about the Revolutionary Freedom Fighters of India from Bengal, which has received appreciations from Historians, researchers and other experts, institutions, from the Governor of West Bengal and Ministry of Education.
