I've always felt out of place. In-between the cracks. This listlessness beckoned me abroad and I traveled the world in search of something that I couldn't quite place my finger on. I've collected vivid memories and experiences along the way as I found a voice in my writing. I have returned home to coastal North Carolina where the ocean and it's restlessness are one of the few places I can relate my own restlessness with. For 20+ years, I have veiled this listlessness in my writing for countless news articles, feature profiles and media reviews for dozens of publications. I've worked on major Hollywood films and low-budget independent films alike, produced soundtracks and also have had my creative fiction published in literary journals. Journalistic non-fiction has been a primary driver of my creative outlet but under the surface, I had been formulating a creative fiction style sourced from my experiences. I enjoy noir, thrilling adventure and mystery but I also don't mind redemptive stories and things coming full circle -- after all, I am a Gemini. "I Killed A Man In Madrid" is my first full-length novel and is a noir thriller based on my time living in Spain, that centers on a corrupt pharmaceutical company and a cover-up of a murdered woman.
