Candido Segarra

Mr. Segarra is an internationally published author and management trainer. He has over 40 years of entrepreneurial, general management, manufacturing management, and strategic planning and operations experience, as president of various companies and as a senior level executive for various Fortune 500 companies. He has over twenty years experience in designing, developing, and delivering highly successful management training programs. He is a pioneer and expert in the use and transfer of technology to deliver distant group learning.

His areas of career expertise include: manufacturing management and process reengineering,

strategic business planning and business development, marketing and branding, general

management and leadership development, business restructuring and turnarounds,

executive coaching and information technology. As a guest lecturer at the Graduate School

of Engineering, University of Central Florida, he was commended for his popular and highly

He has been the architect of various successful business turnarounds. He was the turnaround CEO of a manufacturer and retailer of gourmet gelato operation in Miami, which was at the brink of bankruptcy when Mr. Segarra was brought on board. Under his leadership, the company experienced a dramatic financial and operational turnaround in only nine months. He has also been instrumental in the business turnaround of a medical software company, a cable television parts and components wholesaler.

Mr. Segarra is an avid reader, organizational psychology researcher and a habitual student. His enjoyment of research and learning led to his earning a B.B.A. in Accounting from Inter-American University and a M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Chicago; both through distance learning. He completed the Advanced Management Course at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts; the Advanced Negotiations Workshop, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts; and has completed courses toward an MA in Theology at Covenant Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. His further education includes years of extensive studies and research in organizational and human behavior.

Before launching the Foresight Management Development Program in 2007, he was for five years franchisee-owner for South Florida of an international management training franchise, ranked number one in the franchise category of management training. After over twenty years of researching, writing, and successfully developing management and executive training programs, he is considered a national leading authority in the field.
