C.P. Turner

cp turner was born at an exceptionally tender age in a town called Baile nam Maighdinnean-Ròin in the Risen Land. Stolen by the Daoine Sìth -- the fairyfolk -- she was schooled in the thousand songs, the 500 stories, and the ten thousand proverbs.

For a few hundred years, cp lived the life of a performer, singing and dancing under the firefly spotlights, but that was a long time ago, and having grown to a young enough age to retire from the busy life of show business, she is now pursuing her first and original love, weaving tapestries out of air.

The author of the novel "sounds like a lie but its realy the truth" (and yes, she knows the words are misspelled, thank you very much), cp is currently working on the novel, "the girl that tumbled from the sky," a history of the future after the Great Melt, that she's been working on for a few years. At a thousand pages so far, it seems to be nearing completion (it's taking so long because the future is a long, tangled story).

The photo is of cp in a different time.
