Vincent Ialenti

Vincent Ialenti is a Social Scientist in the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Nuclear Energy and a Research Associate at California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt’s Department of Environmental Studies. He holds a PhD in Anthropology from Cornell University. He has served as MacArthur Assistant Research Professor at George Washington University's Elliot School of International Affairs and has held fellowships at University of Southern California, University of British Columbia, and Cornell's Society for the Humanities. Vincent's research has been supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation, The Mellon Foundation, The Berggruen Institute, and The MacArthur Foundation. Alongside his academic work, he has written for Scientific American, NPR, BBC, Forbes, Psyche, Noema, and other public outlets.
