Leah Gabrielle Goodman

Leah Gabrielle (Michelson) Goodman was born in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1978, about 9 months and 2 days after her siblings and father outvoted her mom 5-1 in the vote for another child. As an army brat, she moved often and while her sister enjoys it, she likes staying put.

When she was in kindergarten, her teacher posted everyone's career aspirations on the door to the classroom. Leah's career choice was unique - author and illustrator.

She studied English Linguistics and Literature in college, and then completed studies towards an MA in Creative Writing at Bar Ilan University.

She has started at least ten children's novels before now, and many more in her head, but with her patient, persistent, and procrastination-free sister, she finally completed her first, just as the world headed into a time when magic is very much needed.

Broken Sparkles is her first novel, and she's already working on the next book in the series!
