John Andres

John Andres has been trading since 1990 and has focused on options and futures since 2005. After a broker's bad advice cost him a significant portion of his retirement savings in the early 2000s, he spent years searching for a trading approach built on math instead of guesswork. That search became the House Edge Blueprint, a mechanical, probability-based method he now teaches through House Edge Advantage, where he runs a live weekday trading room and has mentored traders since 2016. He is the author of Introduction to Probability-Based Options Trading and The House Edge Blueprint.

Outside the markets, John writes fiction. SWING is his debut novel. The story of a young girl making her way to the LPGA tour despite pressure from her father both in and outside the home.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, he now lives with his wife in Naples, Florida.
