Jack Billings

Jack Billings is a retired jurist and attorney, living near Eugene, OR, with his wife and trusted editor, Linda DeSpain. He began writing for publication in late 2016 with a cover article in The Outdoor Journal about his 310 mile, 30 day raft trip down the Rio Maranon in the Peruvian Andes. His work has also appeared in American Whitewater and 48North.

Joining a writing group with Linda in late 2019, Jack found fascination writing fiction and dialogue. "I cherish the research with those who aid in fleshing out a story's details. If I can bring readers enjoyment, my goals are satisfied."

Some of this is Real is Jack's first foray into fiction.
