Heather Smallwood

A 17-year veteran educator with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in education, Heather Bennett-Smallwood has taught throughout the United States.

Having overcome a few personal trials, Heather has rediscovered her self-worth, inner value, and passion for writing. She strongly believes in the importance of instilling awareness, confidence, and self-esteem in young children to ensure that they grow into confident, emotionally healthy, and thriving adults.

She believes everyone has the ability to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity. With support, the willpower to succeed, and the gift of grace, anyone can possess

the Power to Be who God created them to be.

Born in Tarrytown, New York, Heather currently resides in Dallas, Texas, with her humble and talented daughter, Jaelyn, and fur baby, Miracle.
