Dan Coonan

In addition to being a history lover and political junkie, Dan Coonan has been a leader within the field of intercollegiate athletics for twenty years. He presently runs The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). He spent eleven years as Athletic Director at Santa Clara University after serving as Executive Associate AD at Cal and Assistant Commissioner of the Pac-12. He also practiced law, co-managed a congressional campaign, and served as Chairman of the Board of LifeMoves, the largest homeless shelter network in the San Francisco Bay Area. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and three children.
