Judy Auer Shaw

Judy Auer Shaw (b.1950) grew up in southern Indiana and traveled across the country learning about nature and the treasures of America's National Park System, in particular the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. She graduated from Indiana University and earned her Masters at the University of Michigan. She practiced environmental protection planning and research for over 30 years while living in New Jersey and earned a PhD from Rutgers University.

Today she lives, writes and gardens in northeast Ohio. In addition to non-fiction, her interests are in social policy, historical fiction and fiction that focuses on self-awareness.
