Cathy Croshaw

Cathy Croshaw and her husband, Bob, are both native Californians. They met while skiing in Squaw Valley, got married, and raised two girls. Cathy practiced law in San Francisco for thirty-seven years and retired in the summer of 2018. Bob worked in the electronics industry with his most recent job as CEO of an electronics distribution company.

They now live near Lake Tahoe and spend several weeks of the year chartering sailboats around the world, combined with some land travel. When they’re not traveling, they take advantage of Truckee’s snowy winters for skiing and its warm summers for hiking with their dog, Charlie. They also enjoy playing golf and spend- ing time at the lake.

In 2014, both Cathy and Bob had cancer and were treated at the Gene Upshaw Memorial Cancer Center in Truckee. Today, Cathy keeps a blog of their travels and is also writing articles about their unique experiences sailing in various parts of the world.
