I see myself as part of what will eventually be recognised as a historic turning point for humanity - the transition to a just and sustainable world where we provide well (and abundantly) for a population of about ten billion while remaining within the capacity of the planet to support us and innumerable future generations.

My personal mission statement is:

My areas of particular interest are:

o Energy (eg bio-energy, renewables, insulation and behaviours)

o Land use / food production (eg local growing to reduce food miles)

o Circular economy

o Transportation (eg Electric Vehicles, urban transportation systems)

o Biodiversity

o Green economics and social justice

I'm retired now, but have worked in the following sectors:

o Accountancy

o Pharmaceuticals

o Big Oil

o Venture Capital

o Local Government (two different tiers)

o Environmental charities

o Social Enterprises
