Timothy Hopper

Timothy Hopper may very well be the secret pseudonym of a scandalous celebrity, prodigious polymath, or renowned recluse seeking to avoid causing a stir (If so, it has been an extraordinarily well-executed plan). Alternatively, it may be the true name of an unknown aspiring author from Jackson, Mississippi. His early career interests included poet, comedian, and philosopher, so he pursued a liberal arts education at Harvard, only to discover that he did not take himself seriously enough to become a poet and that he took himself slightly too seriously to become a comedian. He liked to write but found philosophy writing too long, drab, and dense, so he decided to write children’s books that were short, magical, and melodious. In his enthusiasm to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Seuss, he set out to become a doctor as well. Several years later, he discovered that Dr. Seuss was not a doctor of medicine, but by then he had already committed and fortunately discovered he had a genuine appreciation for practicing medicine when he was able to find the time.

He has been blessed to collaborate with Jaci Hopper, who is rumored to be the illustrious illustrator of a plethora of pieces of subversive, satirical street art. However, some experts surmise that she is simply an unknown aspiring illustrator who happens to be the magnificent mother of the alliterative author.
