Rev. Glenda L Alphin

Long before she became an author, Glenda Alphin was an avid reader who loved books. Weekly library trips with her family fed her imagination, helping her to later communicate her and her husband's missions journeys. Glenda holds a B.Th. from Apostolic Bible Institute (1987) and is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. Her ministry experience has spanned all ages, from teaching children to discipling new and seasoned believers, and she finds deep joy in helping others grow spiritually. In 2007, she and her husband, Mark, were appointed as UPCI Global Representatives and are pioneering works in Finland and Iceland. Glenda’s passion is discipleship—guiding others toward a deeper, more personal relationship with their Savior.

In 2003, the Alphins co-published the Growing with God series (Book One: Growing with God: Cultivating Growth (2003), Book Two: Growing with God: Expanding Relationship (2004), and the compilation, Growing with God: From Cultivation to Harvest (2014)). In 2026, she released "I Want to Hear You, God" and "In the Beginning: The Birth of UPCI Finland."

She looks forward to sharing new projects as God leads.
