Christopher Lee Jones

Christopher Lee Jones grew up in Southern Michigan, attended Jackson High School and Michigan State University. He moved to South Florida just before hurricane Andrew. He obtained his Advanced Scuba Diver certification and his USCG Captains license working in the Merchant Mariner industry and helping with many deliveries of sail boats and power boats around the Caribbean. He has been fortunate enough to take his personal boats to many of the islands of the Bahamas.

He obtained his Fire Certification and Paramedic and EMT certificates and worked for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue for many years, retiring in 2019. He has always been a self-admitted space nut in hibernation. After watching one of the first Falcon 9 launches where the booster returned and landed safely and then watching the first Falcon Heavy in person, where both boosters landed safely back at Kennedy Space Center, he knew he needed to pursue his love of Space again. Since then, Christopher has traveled to many NASA destinations for research including the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama and he has toured the Marshall Space Flight Center and the Redstone Arsenal, where the staff patiently answered all of his numerous questions.

Today he still resides in South Florida and continues his search for anything Space related.
