I have always said I was born with a horse in my heart and a pen in my hand; that has never changed.

I write stories of magic, animals, and the worlds that capture my heart, from the enchanted adventures of Mister Mishkins to the drama and beauty of the Arabian horse world.

I am an author, magazine owner, lifelong animal lover, and passionate storyteller. Alongside writing, I own an Arabian horse magazine and appeared on MasterChef in 2019, combining my love of creativity and food.

The Magical Mister Series is my first children’s book collection, inspired by my beloved ginger cat, Mishkins. The books are filled with magic, kindness, and unforgettable characters, based on the many wonderful cats who have shared my life. Nero the Hero swiftly followed, a heart-warming adventure series.

I also write the Arabian Storm Series under the name Adelaide Halsey - think Jilly Cooper based in the Arabian horse world!
