Lisa L. Frechette

Lisa L. Frechette, MA, M.Ed, weaves together her passions as a teacher, artist, clothing designer, and author to serve others. She believes that creative expression and healing have the potential to empower and open hearts to deeper joy. Following her young adult son’s death, Lisa utilized her writing skills and wrote about their relationship. The book’s title is Transforming to Joy; Responding to My Son’s Struggle with Addiction. Loss and grief and their healthy expression were not new to her when the pandemic struck. She felt called to share practical ways to support fellow humans on this bumpy road of life in another book called Responding to Grief; A Workbook Guide for Those Seeking to Explore, Heal, and Transform Loss. The lotus that graces both book jackets was created from her painting made in memory of her deceased son.
