Tanay Pant

Tanay is an eighth-grader who lives with his family and dog "Dude" in Chicago. He loves to read and write, mostly mystery and dystopian books in his spare time.

He started young with Nickelodeon rip-off comic books and short school competition poems. After experimenting with many different genres, ranging from feel-good comedies to morbid 'alternate future of the world' stories, he found his niche: dystopia, action, and mystery. Inspired by amazing authors such as Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, and Kass Morgan, he set out to write his first novel. Five. Separate. Times. Finally, on the sixth attempt, he successfully published his first complete novel: Preserve and Protect, inspired by all the amazing dystopian novelists he had come to love. He is planning to continue working on sequels and new individual books to publish next.
