Daniel W. Houck was raised in McLean, Virginia and educated at Wheaton College, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Southern Methodist University. He serves as senior pastor of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Fairfax, Virginia, and as adjunct professor of theology at the John Leland Center for Theological Studies. He is an ecclesial fellow at the Center for Pastor Theologians, interested in retrieving insights from the Christian tradition to address contemporary issues in theology and science. Aquinas, Original Sin, and the Challenge of Evolution is his first book.
He lives with his wife in the Washington D.C. metro area.
