Dr. William J Long

William J. (Bill) Long, Ph.D., is a retired college professor who has self-published on Amazon six children's books (Job's Journey, Then I Will Be Happy, Feelings, The Christmas Tree That Lived Forever, A Hole in the Road, and Feathers); one novel (2024); one ACT/SAT study manual; and, most recently, a definitive study of domestic authoritarian propaganda (Recognizing and Understanding Authoritarian Propaganda).

The illustrated children's books, written largely in poetic form, are designed to help children realize their self-worth. The novel, 2024, and the book on authoritarian propaganda examine the impact of language on our societal values. Each book can be accessed on Kindle by title.
