Miriam Tocino

Miriam Tocino is a mother, writer, and illustrator. Her project, Zerus and Ona, was born out of a personal need: to find better tools to support her child in navigating the digital world.

The stories of Zerus and Ona are those tools. They grow out of real situations and conversations at home—moments when a better way is needed to talk about complex topics. Her books don’t offer rules or prohibitions, but stories and reflections that open the door to conversations about what truly matters.

Trained as an architect and born in San Fernando (Cádiz), Miriam taught herself how to code and now leads teams in technology companies, designing systems that put people at the center. This unique blend of architecture, technology, and education shapes her work: making complex ideas clear and supporting children and families as they think, decide, and grow in the digital world.
