Dr. Michael Ross DC

Dr. Michael Ross DC, CSCS, DACRB, is a retired Seattle firefighter, Marine Corps combat veteran, and Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation Chiropractic Physician. As a clinician he has been in practice for 30 years (both full-time and part-time while he was a full time FireFighter). Dr. Ross completed the rigorous study and testing process to become a Board Certified Diplomate in Exercise Rehabilitation. In his practice, Dr. Ross treats patients as patient/athletes and develops training programs for them to resolve their injuries, based upon his mission statement of "Long-Term Results Through Short-term Active Based Care - Emphasizing Patient Involvement". Following the research Dr. Ross has found that home-exercise rehabilitation programs with short-term clinical care is the best plan for resolution of most injuries in active people, especially Low Back, Shoulder, and Neck issues.

In addition to his clinical experience and education, he has completed countless triathlons and endurance events, including five Ironman Triathlons. His clinical experience, combined with many years of competing in, as well as coaching for, endurance events, gives him a unique perspective on injury, rehabilitation, and endurance training. He has a relentless pursuit of evidence-based and research substantiated methods for training, coaching, clinical rehabilitation, and injury prevention. While these methods may not be as well-known as the current trends, Dr. Ross maintains an objective outlook rooted in science. He ensures continued success and remains in high demand of treating and coaching active individuals.
