Gabriele Stautner

Gabriele Stautner was born in Ulm, Germany. She studied in Augsburg and holds a diploma in communication design. She worked in Paris, Stuttgart, Reutlingen and spent 5 years of her life in Iceland, where she studied Icelandic at Háskóli Íslands and founded Artifox Graphic Design & Pro Client Edits, together with M.E. Kentta. The book project "This is Iceland Today" could be realized in cooperation with Morgunbladid and the translator Sigurdur A. Magnússon. It was supported by the Icelandic Leifur Eiriksson Millenium Commission.

Gabriele accomplished several other book projects which were not designated for an ISBN number, because the target group of readers is regionally located. She cooperates now with Dorothee Bernheim upon various smaller projects such as short stories and documentaries.
