RD Sutherland grew up in Colorado, educated at the University of Colorado, undergraduate and Medical School. Residency General Surgery, Minneapolis, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Dallas. Military Service US Air force. Private practice, Amarillo, Texas. After practice for 30 years became a professional Air Race Pilot, racing in the National Air Races in Reno 4 years and also in the Sport Air Racing League 3 years. National Champion, SARL, 2008. Now living in the Dallas Metroplex with wife Carolyn and dog Happy, near children and grandchildren. I have always wanted to write novels, and now have the time.
