Lucie Dickenson

Lucie Dickenson was born in New Jersey... and still lives there. She graduated from Monmouth University with a BA in English and holds a background in management, training and corporate ladder climbing. It was after her years long battle with anxiety that she was reunited with her love for writing. Beginning as a diary and morphing into a blog, her words about helping and healing from anxiety caught on and soon Lucie was helping thousands of others with anxiety, OCD and MCS.

In 2019 she wrote her first book "Overreacting" and that was soon followed by the 2nd edition titled "The Anxious Hippie" and the accompanying workbook "The Anxious Hippie Handbook". Lucie then teamed up with her daughter, Colleen and they co-authored, "Worry-Free ABC", a book to empower children, and give them the tools to shift from fear to fun. Lucie now helps others publish their stories and is the owner of StarLight Books Publishing

Lucie lives by the beach with her husband and three children. If she is not writing, you will find her soaking up the sun, riding her beach cruiser or attempting to surf.
