I am originally from Jonesboro, AR. and currently living in beautiful Ridgway, CO. I have been married to my wife for over 23 years and we have three children. My wife and I have been serving in Southern Baptist Churches in our area for several years now. My passion is preaching, teaching the Bible and teaching theology. I also enjoy polemics and apologetics and you will see this reflected in my writing. My desire is to help Christians grow in their knowledge and understanding of Scripture and the God we serve. It is for this reason that I have begun to release old work that I have previously done as well as continuing to release new works. The newest book that is available is called Tear Down the Church: The Ideas of Man versus The Word of God. Huskey's Study Notes are geared toward Sunday school classes and small groups but are also well suited for person study. Other works are intended to help Christian layman and Christian leaders to be able to navigate through much of the bad teaching that is abundant today about God, church, family, and life.
The Huskey's Study Notes series will be helpful to both the body of Christ as well as teachers. They will guide you through either a book of the bible exegetically or theology historically and systematically, staying within the bounds of orthodox Christianity. The busyness of life can be a challenge for many teachers. I have attempted to put curriculum together that can easily be opened and taught without a lot of prep time. They can also be used as family devotionals, reference materials, and commentaries.
I hope and pray that these books and studies will help people grow into the maturity that God has called us to.
For the glory of God alone!
