David L Tice

David L. Tice was born in 1948, in Sacramento, CA. He thinks it is kind of special that he was born the same year that the nation of Israel was reborn. He was raised in Sacramento and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Sacramento State College in 1971 and taught high-school math in Marysville, CA for two years.

David was blessed to be raised by Godly parents. They lived what they believed and some of his earliest memories are of being in church with his family. He grew up with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Large family gatherings were the norm.

David gave his heart to the Lord at a very early age and throughout his growing years stayed stable in his Christian walk. During his last year of college, he met his future wife, Lillian Brown from Detroit, MI while she was attending Evangel College. They met inside the church he now pastors. The next year, at a Bible Camp in Arkansas, they became engaged and were married over Christmas vacation.

At the high-school where he taught, he and another teacher began a lunchtime praise and Bible discussion in his classroom. After two years of teaching, God spoke to his heart that it was time to leave teaching and go into ministry. At that time he didn't know what God intended, but he said, "Yes".

David and his wife moved to Springfield, MO in 1973 and have made it their home. They have three daughters who have married wonderful Christian men and together have given them ten grandchildren. Seven of those grandchildren are here on earth and three have preceded them to their heavenly home.

David and Lil have pastored the Fountain of Life Christian Fellowship in Springfield, MO for over 40 years. Over the years of their ministry, they have been blessed to minister in Puerto Rico, Singapore, and Indonesia. David has also ministered in India, Malaysia, Myanmar and Brazil.

David ministers a practical "walk-it-out" message from the passion of his heart to see Christians grow into full maturity. He has just finished his first book with a message on the church for today and is already working on the second one of this series.
