I live in Brisbane, Australia and have been married to Charmaine for over thirty-five years. Earlier in my life I ministered as a pastor in Tasmania and Victoria. In middle-life I considered that if I had my life over again I would probably have been a teacher. Realising I wasn't dead yet, I completed a double degree in Arts and Teaching, and taught as a primary school teacher for the next nineteen years till retiring at the end of 2021.
My interests are photography, movie making, writing, family tree research, travel and digital technologies.
Many people have encouraged me in my life; I want to acknowledge: my mother, who taught me how to pray;
Rev Gus Wilson, who lost his life, while helping me as a teenager understand what Christ’s sacrifice meant;
Heather Sims, a missionary in training, who answered my spiritual questions as a young man prior to receiving Christ;
Dr. Arthur Blanksby at Otira Methodist Missionary Training College, Melbourne, who gave me a good understanding of the Scriptures during my training as a local preacher in the Methodist Church;
Jinnie Stewart-Scott, who introduced me to the abundant life of the Holy Spirit and is now enjoying it to the full;
Rev Harry Westcott of Vision College, Sydney, who inspired me by his example to do exploits for Jesus;
and my wife Charmaine, who prays for me and believes God’s best for my life.
