Lisa Baxter

Lisa Baxter is an author, a mom to two moody teens, and to two needy Corgi. She is a lover of all things Disneyland Resort- especially the food- beignets, churros, Mickey pretzels, beignets... She gained a passion for the Mouse House on her 9th birthday when she met Mickey for the first time, while she was dressed in her Sears Toughskins jean jacket and matching pants. (This was the 70's, People!) Since then, she's dabbled as a cast member, amateur Disneyland Resort tour guide for friends and family, and storyteller. For the past five years, she's been a contributing author to various Disney-related blogs.

Her first book, "California Dreamin'" is a thank-you letter to Disneyland Resort as she was an original cast member during Disney California Adventure's opening years. Lisa has combined her tenure and love of Disney trivia, with a little bit of nostalgia and wit, to share with Disneyland Resort fans. She's dancing with joy about the release of her second book-"Joy to the Mouse"- which showcases the holidays at Disneyland Resort. Look for more books coming soon!
