Diego T. Santos

Diego Tresinari holds a PhD in Food Science and Technology Field from University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2011), Brazil. From 2011-2019 he worked as a scientific researcher in Food Engineering Department at the UNICAMP. Between 05/2013-04/2014 and 01/2016-12/2016 he did postdoctoral internships in Engineering Economics topic at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (Switzerland) with Professor François Maréchal and at University of Valladolid (Spain) with Professor Dr. María Jose Cocero. Besides he did short-term visiting research period at Dublin City University (Ireland), at University of Chile (Chile) and at CONICET-Bahía Blanca (Argentine). He has published 85 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 10 book, 41 book chapters and more than 125 works in scientific conferences. Moreover, he developed 13 new scientific Processes/Products. He has participated in several research projects (45) with both, public and private funding. He has supervised 2 PhD theses, 6 MSc dissertations; 2 undergraduate and 8 visiting students’ research projects. Among his many activities related to the promotion of scientific development, Dr. Santos serve as reviewer for 70 international journals and as member of the editorial advisory board for 12, in addition he also was part of the organizing committee of 7 scientific conferences.
