J. Michael Bennett

J. Michael Bennett, Ph.D has a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering, and served for sixteen years as a team leader in technology development at the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, as well operating his own successful consulting and technology development business as an inventor, having received over twenty four patents on personal inventions now used in the military, commercial and transportation industries, with his work profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Scientific American and television programs on CNN and PBS. For seven years, he produced and hosted a radio program entitled Future Quake (as host “Doctor Future”), broadcast weekly on WRFN FM (“Radio Free Nashville”) and then daily on the Christian radio station WENO, AM 760 in Nashville, TN, and worldwide via the Internet (with his shows currently archived at the show website, www.futurequake.com). He is a contributing author of the books How to Overcome the Most Frightening Issues You Will Face This Century and Pandemonium’s Engine (both of Defender Publishing), and at any time is working on a number of new solo book projects. He has also been featured as a radio guest on programs such as Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, and as a keynote speaker on religion and spirituality at the 2008 United Nations and World Council of Churches-sponsored international conference entitled “Reconnecting Heaven and Earth in Spirit, Space and the Human Psyche,” hosted by the United Nations NGO (non-governmental organization), The International Institute of Integral Human Sciences (www.iiihs.org). He was a researcher and on-camera host of the documentary, Dark Clouds Over Elberton: The True Story of the Georgia Guidestones. He also irregularly posts his musings on his blog site dedicated to Joshua and Caleb and other “minority views” of God’s people, “The Two Spies Report” (www.twospiesreport.wordpress.com), and also hosts a site (www.mikebennettbooks.com) dedicated to news about his published works.

He was raised in a blue-collar, loving family in Louisville, KY, with Bible Belt values centered around Baptist church culture and family...and hot rod cars in the driveway, and the local fairgrounds short track races on Saturday. He was blessed to be raised in the late 60s to early 80s, in the precambrian, prehistoric era before the Internet, when there was still mystery in life, and most of what all his peers knew was what was on 3-4 channels on TV (until signoff at midnight), what they encountered in their neighborhood (or family vacation), or in the ads in comic books, such as the $6.98 submarine for kids with real missiles, and all they knew about music artists was what was on the liner notes (although, he confesses the Internet made it possible to hold conference calls with companies like Boeing while he sat in the recliner in his sweat pants, and even do research for his books, but it would have made it tough to focus on boring books in engineering school). He was raised on Ultra Man and Spider Man cartoons, scary movies on the local TV station, and Burger Chef and Burger Queen hamburgers (and still loves all the above). He asserts that movies and music went south after 1973 (with 1974 being the most depressing year in human history), and has the world's largest collection of motorcycle gang drive-in and other bad movies, and an unparalleled collection of slot cars. He was blessed to snatch a Southern Belle (and fellow engineer) by the name of Ginger, and is further blessed with many (patient) sharp and faithful friends.

He has done all that he has ever imagined to do in his life, short of being in a band or being a wrestling manager. He has drawn and produced his own comic books, produced, written and directed three feature-length dramatic movies, been awarded scores of high-tech patents, blown up airplanes and crashed cars with rocket sleds on purpose, appeared on TV specials about himself (including while in a fake spacesuit), wrecked a number of race cars on the race track in competition (including a 1964 Coupe de Ville), made a fool of himself on the radio every week for seven years, spoken at NATO and United Nations conferences, had his head officially examined with a phrenology machine at the Museum of Questionable Medical Devices (followed by breaking in to the set of Mystery Science Theater 3000), been to Hitler's bunker, met a disappearing man at the gate of Area 51 and discovered the mysterious "R. C. Christian" who built the Georgia Guidestones, and has even done some fascinating and strange things. Evidently unable to keep a job and still not sure what he wants to do when he grows up, as of late he has taken on the mantle of book writer, focusing on unpopular subjects and views that seems to offend about everybody, as his recipe for "success." He has been blessed by God beyond measure in his life, and he hopes these works in his "sunset years" will change hearts and minds, and shine the light of God's illumination and heart-warmth into those readers who have "ears to hear" (or low standards in their reading material).
