K.E. Warner

Vancouver Island based writer K.E. Warner is the author of The Stey Cove Mystery Series. Working as a professional fundraiser for over a decade, K.E. had the privilege of meeting and knowing an eclectic mix of incredible people whose unique beauty and human flaws are reflected in the quirky, endearing, and authentic characters she creates. Her cozy mystery series, The Stey Cove Mysteries, showcases a few of those that share a room inside her head.

K.E. has been a lifelong writer, having been encouraged by teachers since she scribbled her first story, a love story for Paddington Bear, in Grade Two. She continues to study the craft through the work of her favourite authors and completed several Creative Writing courses at the University of Toronto. She is published in the 2019 VSS365 Anthology under the pen name @VancIslandology, and the online literary magazine, The Cabinet of Heed.

When not writing, she can be found paddleboarding in the Strait of Georgia, nailing down the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe, or travelling the world – where her favourite spot in any city is their local bookstore.
