Alexander J Stransky

Greetings friends!

Alexander J Stransky is a new author that is very excited to see his work taking form. Being a new father has inspired him to revisit his passion and inspiration for the literary world. His first novel, Somewhere Far From Here, is a work that had been in the chamber for a decade, and now has had the opportunity to be published.

His inspiration for the young adult/coming of age genre has been cultivated by the novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower, the tv shows Freaks and Geeks and The Wonder Years, and other sources. His other areas of interest include science fiction, fantasy, and mythology. Contemplating his next works...which may include a collection of poetry gathered from his creative writing days in college, or a work of fantasy, inspired by Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, and Diablo.

His interests and hobbies growing up included comic books, wrestling, video games, and sports. Now most of his time revolves around his family, including his wife, new son, and Siberian Husky. He feels it very important to stay in tune with oneself and with family. He often goes on hikes and miles long walking expeditions with his dog, exploring nature in order to be in tune with the basic world around him.

Alexander J Stransky graduated from Caldwell College with a Bachelor's degree in English, and Montclair State University with an MBA in Management. He currently works as an Assistant Claims Manager for a food importer and distributer, based in New Jersey.
