I was born in Australia, and have straddled both Australian culture and Italian culture as a result of my parent linage. I have worked in the field of human services, health for over 30 years. I am the founder, past CEO and Director of the Enable Group, a Company providing Rehabilitation, Training and Recruitment, committed to promoting a skilled workforce. I have focused on the Age Care and Disability Sector since 1978, in a number of roles, including Developmental Educator, Case Manager, Staff Training Officer, University Lecturer, Human Resource Manager, Registered Nurse, Therapist, and Advocate, for a variety of government and non government agencies. I am privileged that my formal education that includes a Bachelor of Applied Science (Developmental Disability), Registered Nurses qualifications and experience, Vocational Trainer and Assessor, and countless other development programs have supported the practical knowledge I have gained along the way.
I have had a long-term commitment to Rehabilitation, Disability and Aged Care Sector reforms and Advocacy, and have committed ENABLELEARNING series to continue this work.
My unconventional approach to delivering training was scoffed at from many years but has since become the norm in providing flexible learning platforms for everyone who wants to access it. The proceeds of these resources contribute to continuing research and development in the industry. I have the privilege to work in several countries to continue my work on a more global perspective.
