Tim Fox

Tim Fox lives with his family in the western Oregon Cascades where he spends long hours immersed in forests and mountains, reflecting on the human place in an increasingly uncertain world. These reflections find their outlet in his writings, both fiction and non-fiction. His most recent project, the young adult speculative fiction trilogy, Afterlands Convergence, is a story set 14,000 years from now at the close of the next ice age, when a small group of outcasts will decide the fate of a world imperiled by long lost technologies melting from the ice. Some of his other eco-thematic writings have been published in the anthologies Walking on Lava, Forest Under Story, Dark Mountain Issues 4, 5, 9, 11, and 17, and in Orion and Green Spirit magazines. The Mountain Lion, a chronicle of his six-day residency afoot in the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest, is posted on-line in The Forest Log.
