Hi, I love writing passionate, action-packed historical novels with plots driven by striking characters from all walks of life. Rivers Ran Red, the first book in The Last of the Romans trilogy,is available now. Heroes and heroines rise to defend civilisation against the psychotic megalomania of Attila the Hun. The novel is based on meticulous research but this is no history lesson, it is a visceral voyage through tumultuous times.

After graduating from Oxford University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, I pursued a career in business and regulatory economics before the compulsion to write consumed me. In 2014, I completed a Master of Creative Writing at AUT with celebrated Kiwi author, James George, as my mentor.

I live in New Zealand but travel often to visit my two daughters, (one of whom won the first season of New Zealand's Next Top Model), who are students in Europe.
