Troy A. Waugh

Troy Waugh brings creativity and passion to mentoring leaders of Christian NFP organizations through Missions Development International. He is the author of three books and has been selected as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the Accounting Profession for ten years. Troy was named as the only recipient of The Advisory Board’s Hall of Fame recognition in 2015 for his years of innovative leadership in training and consulting. Troy was the CEO and founder of The Rainmaker Companies, an international consulting and training firm, which he sold in 2014.

He serves on the Board of Directors of several business and religious organizations.

Troy and his wife Sheryl have three children and eleven grandchildren and they live in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee. He is an avid golfer and supporter of Belmont University and a graduate of the University of Tennessee and University of Southern California.

Other than his salvation, Troy’s discipleship experience with his CLC brothers has been most vital to his service in God’s Kingdom. Walking with men through life’s challenges, family dynamics, business and health disruptions as we hold the hand of Jesus together has deepened his own faith.

Troy believes the need for discipling men in America to daily walk with Jesus has never been greater. Much of the chaos in the world is due to men failing to fulfill their proper roles in their homes, churches and communities. He is committed to the mission of CLC to help men love God with all their hearts and to love their neighbors as themselves.
