Suzanne Askham

Suzanne is a former journalist who writes readable memoirs and uplifting novels* that shine a light on hidden lives. Her most recent, collaborative work, 'Oh Hell', combines the best of both genres.

"I grew up hearing so many stories about my Great Aunt Frey, who nursed soldiers during the Second World War, was interned and died just after liberation. Aunt Frey's diaries of her nursing years in 1920s London are both funny and revealing. A century after she first entered the hospital she called 'St Clement the Uncareful', I've been able to complete the work she began. There's honestly nothing quite like this memoir out there, and I'm proud to have helped my great aunt to tell her story."

Suzanne lives in Wiltshire, UK with her family.

* Suzanne's first novel will be published soon.
