Mrs. Keldra S Pinder

Born in The Bahamas, Keldra Pinder, a wife and mother of four, is spiritually grounded and passionate about sharing God’s love and His word. She has been an educator for the past eighteen (18) years, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from The College of The Bahamas (2002) and a Master’s of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Barry University (2015). She also enjoys training other professionals via educational workshops and seminars geared toward improving teaching and learning, and has worked with Barry University as a Teaching Assistant in their Master’s Program.

As a former beauty ambassador (Mrs. Bahamas-World 2010) Keldra represented The Bahamas in the 2011 Mrs. World pageant. She is an advocate for children and has founded the organization- TEEN, whose objective is to Train, Empower & Enhance a Nation, through youth development programs. Through TEEN Organization, Keldra offers assistance to students in need of help in various facets of their lives. She is passionate about ensuring that every student she encounters is given the best chance of success- be it in academics, sports or the arts, as they are the future of our nation.

Keldra Pinder is also a newly published author and speaker. After her family’s harrowing Hurricane Dorian experience in 2019, Keldra decided to write her first memoir- The Water Has Come, which describes the catastrophic events that transpired in the most powerful storm in recorded history. Her books also inculcates her life’s message that storms are a part of our journey, but we can weather them with faith in God to become stronger and wiser. She has taken this message to various speaking platforms and has been invited to share her story as a TedX speaker.
