M. A. Robinette

M. A. Robinette has been in full-time pastoral ministry for over 30 years and has worked as a professional writer and journalist since the mid-1990s. He was a reporter for the Daily Times in Portsmouth, Ohio and the Daily Record in Wooster, Ohio and has written articles for several magazines. One of his many assignments took him into Belarus just after the Iron Curtain came down to document the spread of Christianity in the former Soviet Union which helped prepare him for doing the same thing in Myanmar for his book "Myanmar Gold". In addition, he has interviewed and written the life stories of approximately two hundred pastors as a part of weekly feature of the Portsmouth Daily Times.

From an early age he has known and been part of the Christian conversion of several people from Southeast Asia and has a long love and history for these wonderful people.

Robinette and his family have planted two churches, including one in the inner-city of Columbus working for years, walking by faith, and depending on God for His provision. In his work there he was certainly a missionary. He also served on the board of the Slavic Reformation Society based out of St. Petersburg, Russia and has traveled extensively worldwide seeing firsthand God's work in progress.

He has served as the senior pastor of Foundation Church in Mt. Sterling, Ohio for twenty years and still serves there in this capacity.

He is currently the chairman of the board for Reformation Theological Seminary in Yangon, Myanmar and has adopted two children and also worked as an advocate for adoption.
