Stella M Preissler

Stella Preissler is a girl with a mermaid's soul. At the early age of 9, competitive swimming became her passion. She qualified and competed at AAU Nationals during her teen years, placing in the top 10 nationally. As an adult, she coached age-group swimmers for over a decade and competed at many US Masters Nationals and one time earning her 5 gold medals and recognition as an All-American Masters Swimmer. She was part of approximately 6 National record setting relays and contributed to a World record setting relay. If she is not in the pool or at Lake Chelan, you can find her writing novels.

Her love of history and storytelling is vividly alive in Loving Virginia, a tribute to her late mother's extraordinary life during the Great Depression years and World War II.
