L. Spencer Busch

L. Spencer Busch first transcribed Valentine Spawr’s diary in the 1980s but was not able to thoroughly research the history of his company and regiment until many military records, newspapers, and other sources became available online. A descendant of Spawr, Busch is an editor with a degree in journalism and a passion for history living in Northern Nevada.
