Cheri Bailly-Jacobs was a human resources business specialist for 35 years. She worked as an executive in diverse industries for many years and then started her HR consulting firm in 1993. Cheri was still consulting when she also took on the responsibility of being the caregiver for her husband, Bob Jacobs. A retired financial services executive, Bob was first diagnosed with early dementia in 2002, and later Alzheimer's disease. To help her cope with the range of emotions she felt as her husband's caregiver, she began to write stories about her experiences.
Cheri grew up in Oregon and is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in Romance Languages. She earned an MBA degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She lives in California’s Napa Valley.
