Samantha Kannan

Samantha Kannan is an American from central Illinois. Despite growing up in a small rural town, she has been to India nine times, seen over 1000 Indian films in five languages, studied both Tamil and Hindi, and her husband fares from Tamil Nadu.

She spends most of her time with her husband and puppy, Jimikki. She enjoys writing, studying Tamil, reading, watching movies, and soaking a crispy dosa in fresh tomato chutney.

A New Journey (about her time teaching in a village in Kerala) came out July 2020.

A New Journey 2 (about her wedding in Tamil Nadu) will be out February 2021.
