Mike Shaw

I am from Vernon, BC, Canada. Before becoming a speaker and author, I was a freestyle skier and coach. I trained some of Canada's top halfpipe skiers at the peak of my career. In 2013, while skiing with my team, everything came crashing down. I had a life-changing spinal cord injury that nearly left me paralyzed from the neck down. Since then, I've had a miraculous recovery. I am grateful every day for my physical abilities. Now I'm helping others overcome adversity and achieve their dreams.
