The art of creating images through words is a life-long practice. It is not a talent that happens overnight. It takes time, practice, persistence, and courage. Like any craft, writing pushes one beyond one's self-imposed limits. Because it is a journey with many hardships, we, writers and creatives, do not have to go it alone.

I am an avid reader, writer, and English Teacher. I am passionate about teaching others about the craft of writing and love spreading the joy of reading. When not reading, writing, or teaching, I spend time with my family or hiking through one of our beautiful National Parks or State Parks. Besides water, dark chocolate and tea sustain me. Oh! And I have a slight affinity for pens, stationery, and journals!
