Thomas Perrin

Thomas Perrin is a writer/consultant living in San Juan Capistrano, California. He is the president of White Buffalo Enterprises, and he served six years as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner in the City of San Juan Capistrano. Tom has an Associate Degree in English Literature, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Management.

Tom spent two-years on active duty in Toul, France for the US Army. During his time in Europe he made sojourns into Belgium, the French Alps, the French Riviera and London, England. Later as a part of his business ventures he made several trips to England for meetings in Derby, Bristol and London. As a part of his latest trips to London, he visited the Sherlock Holmes Museum at 221b Baker Street, which added to his admiration of this fictitious character. He has now written two Sherlock Holmes stories. His Sherlock Holmes story, “The Case of The Web of Death,” is scheduled to be produced as a play in 2020.

Tom’s other writing experience includes business plans, technical articles, public character interviews, human interest articles and short stories. He was the editor of a company newsletter for three years. His work has been published in the Sensors Magazine, The Californian, and the MENSA Bulletin. Many of his human interest stories on such subjects as rock climbing, dune buggy racing, and Texas Hold’em poker tournaments have been published in local newspapers. As a part of a community writing group, Tom has written six short stories and two personal memoirs. He won a Writer’s Digest award in 2017 for his memoir “Christmas with Andy Gump.” He is currently working on a detective novel, The Hot Rocks Factor.
