Soledad Galli

Soledad Galli is a data scientist, Python developer, instructor, and author with more than 10 years of experience across world-class academic institutions and industry. She created and maintains Feature-engine, an open-source Python library for feature engineering and selection, now downloaded more than 300,000 times a month with a global community of contributors.

She is the author of the bestselling Python Feature Engineering Cookbook (now in its third edition, Packt) and Feature Selection in Machine Learning (second edition), and she founded Train in Data, a practitioner-focused school whose courses have reached 80,000+ students worldwide.

She has built and deployed machine learning models in production to assess credit risk, evaluate insurance claims, and prevent fraud.
