Micol Kates

Micol Kates has an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on veganism and ethnobotany.

Of the many hats she wears, two include, being a teacher and educational consultant. Her consulting and tutoring website is called: The Best Learning Space: Online English Consulting & Tutoring. Professional English. Elevated Communication Skills.

As an ardent animal rights activist, Micol created an on- line petition asking the Canadian government to create an amendment to the Canadian Charter of Rights ensuring animal rights were included. The petition received more than 5,000 signatures.

Along with an being an educator, writer, and animal activist, Micol is also a Canadian visual artist, and an award winning, landscape photographer. As a visual artist, and photographer, Micol's work has appeared in both solo and group shows in Toronto, in online galleries, and at the Louvre, Paris (in digital form), and in the international photography festival, Contact.
